Welcome to Microtel. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions
  • “Microtel”, “we”, “us”, “our” refers to Microtel, a registered Internet Service Provider in South Africa.
  • “Client”, “you”, “your” refers to any individual or entity using our services.
  • “Services” refers to internet access, network support, fibre installations, and related IT services provided by Microtel.

2. Service Provision
  • Microtel will provide internet and network services as per the selected package and availability in your area.
  • Service activation is subject to infrastructure readiness and successful installation.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services with prior notice for maintenance or upgrades.
 
3. User Responsibilities
  • You agree not to use our services for unlawful, abusive, or harmful activities.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your network and devices.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or breach.
 
4. Billing and Payments
  • All services are billed monthly or as per the agreed payment schedule.
  • Payments must be made via approved channels, including Paystack.
  • Late payments may result in service suspension or termination.
 
5. Refund Policy
  • Refunds are only issued for prepaid services not rendered due to technical faults attributable to Microtel.
  • No refunds will be issued for user-side issues, misuse, or breach of terms.
  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the incident.
 
6. Privacy Policy
  • We respect your privacy and handle your data in accordance with South African POPIA regulations.
  • Personal information is collected only for service delivery, billing, and support.
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties without consent.
 
7. Service Limitations
  • Internet speeds may vary due to network congestion, infrastructure, or third-party limitations.
  • Microtel is not liable for downtime caused by external providers, power outages, or force majeure events.
 
8. Termination
  • Either party may terminate the service with 30 days’ written notice.
  • Microtel may terminate services immediately for breach of terms, non-payment, or abuse.
 
9. Intellectual Property
  • All content, branding, and materials on our website and platforms are the property of Microtel.
  • Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.
 
10. Governing Law
  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
  • Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts within South Africa.
