📄 Microtel ISP – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Microtel. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1.
Definitions
“Microtel”, “we”, “us”, “our”
refers to Microtel, a registered Internet Service Provider in South Africa.
“Client”, “you”, “your”
refers to any individual or entity using our services.
“Services”
refers to internet access, network support, fibre installations, and related IT services provided by Microtel.
2.
Service Provision
Microtel will provide internet and network services as per the selected package and availability in your area.
Service activation is subject to infrastructure readiness and successful installation.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services with prior notice for maintenance or upgrades.
3.
User Responsibilities
You agree not to use our services for unlawful, abusive, or harmful activities.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your network and devices.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or breach.
4.
Billing and Payments
All services are billed monthly or as per the agreed payment schedule.
Payments must be made via approved channels, including Paystack.
Late payments may result in service suspension or termination.
5.
Refund Policy
Refunds are only issued for prepaid services not rendered due to technical faults attributable to Microtel.
No refunds will be issued for user-side issues, misuse, or breach of terms.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the incident.
6.
Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and handle your data in accordance with South African POPIA regulations.
Personal information is collected only for service delivery, billing, and support.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties without consent.
7.
Service Limitations
Internet speeds may vary due to network congestion, infrastructure, or third-party limitations.
Microtel is not liable for downtime caused by external providers, power outages, or force majeure events.
8.
Termination
Either party may terminate the service with 30 days’ written notice.
Microtel may terminate services immediately for breach of terms, non-payment, or abuse.
9.
Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and materials on our website and platforms are the property of Microtel.
Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.
10.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts within South Africa.
